7-week intensive program integrating holistic nutrition, gut-directed hypnotherapy, health education & coaching, nutrition counseling, and stress management to heal the gut and improve overall health & well-being.

This program is tailored to clients with gastrointestinal disorders that include irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, or chronic conditions such as obesity, fibromyalgia, diabetes, obesity, and anxiety Book an initial consultation to learn more about this program and if it is a good fit for you.
Initial Consultation: (45-60 min/zoom or in-person $77) : to understand the client’s medical history, current symptoms, and dietary habits, client bill of rights, hypnosis, expectations, outcomes, review of outline of the 7-week intensive program, and contract

2024 Cohorts – 7-week Intensives enrolling in March 2024
Throughout the program, clients are encouraged to keep a food & stress journal to track their dietary intake, any associated symptoms as well as emotions/stress. Additionally, ongoing support and follow-up sessions can be offered to address any challenges or concerns that may arise during the program

Week 1: Introduction to Holistic Nutrition and Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy
- Group Zoom Session 1: Introduction to Holistic Nutrition
- Overview of holistic nutrition principles emphasizing whole foods, nutrient-dense eating, and mindful eating practices.
- Assessment of current dietary habits, physical & emotional state, and health goals. Why do we eat? What do we eat? When do we eat? How do we feel about it? The questions are explored as a supportive group.
- Basic education on the importance of nutrition for gut and immune health, food diary, overview of different dietary lifestyle changes.
- Hypnotherapy session- Group Zoom focusing on deep relaxation & visualization techniques
Week 2: Understanding Gut-Brain Axis
- Group Zoom Session Introduction to the mind-gut connection and how gut-directed hypnotherapy can influence gastrointestinal health, food journal
- Explanation of the gut-brain axis and its role in digestive health.
- Introduction to dietary strategies for promoting gut microbiome diversity.
- How to create a Food Journal and why journaling is important
- Hypnotherapy session (1:1) focusing on relaxation techniques and visualization of a healthy gut. (zoom or in-person – dependent on client choice and office hours availability)
Week 3: Stress Reduction and Gut Health
- Group Zoom Session: Stress Awareness and Management
- Education on the impact of stress on digestive health and overall well-being.
- Introduction and guidance on stress management techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, and progressive muscle relaxation.
- Nutrition advice focusing on incorporating stress-reducing foods and beverages into the diet and removing inflammatory foods.
- Hypnotherapy Session Group Zoom emphasizing stress reduction techniques and their impact on gut function.
- Coaching Session 1:1- 45 min. zoom or in-person dependent on client choice and available office hours) check-in, question & answer session, hypnosis, stress, food journal, and where client is at with goals for program

Week 4: Nutrition Counseling and Addressing Specific Symptoms
- Group Zoom Session – Nutritional counseling, supplements, herbal teas, tinctures, and nutraceuticals to support health
- Individualized 1:1 hypnotherapy & coaching session (60 min) – targeting specific gastrointestinal symptoms and needs of client based off of prior week’s Coaching session (zoom or in-person)
- Discussion on symptom triggers and potential dietary modifications.
- Introduction to a fiber-rich diet and its role in digestive health.
Week 5: Cognitive Restructuring and Behavioral Changes
- Group Zoom Session: Behavioral strategies for improving eating habits, mealtime routines.
- Nutrition advice on portion control, mindful eating, diet (intermittent fasting, Whole30, Paleo, Vegetarian, Mediterranean, and FODMAP) and maintaining a balanced diet for continued health.
- Group Hypnotherapy session focusing on cognitive restructuring to address negative thought patterns (in-person)
Week 6: Maintenance and Reinforcement
- Group Zoom Session – Review of progress and changes in symptoms throughout the program.
- Individualized 1:1 Hypnotherapy & Coaching session (60 min) focusing on reinforcement of positive habits and self-efficacy.
- Development of a personalized nutrition plan based on individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and gut health goals.
- Discussion on long-term strategies for maintaining gut health, including regular physical activity, adequate hydration, and ongoing stress management techniques.
Week 7: Reflection, Integration & Graduation
- Group Session: Reflection and Integration
- Reflection on progress, challenges, and insights gained throughout the program.
- Development of personalized strategies for maintaining holistic wellness beyond the program.
- Group Hypnotherapy Session: Creating Sustainable Healthy Habits (in person & zoom)
- Action planning for integrating healthy eating patterns, stress management techniques, and gut-directed hypnotherapy into daily life.
- Resources and support networks for ongoing motivation and accountability.
